Welcome to PubMate! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PubMate mobile application ("App") developed and maintained by Tomáš Vyorálek. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. AGE RESTRICTION & ELIGIBILITY

PubMate is an application designed for tracking alcohol consumption. You must be of legal drinking age in your country, state, or province of residence to download and use this App. By using PubMate, you represent and warrant that you meet the legal drinking age requirements of your jurisdiction.

2. MEDICAL & LEGAL DISCLAIMER (IMPORTANT)

THE BAC (BLOOD ALCOHOL CONCENTRATION) CALCULATOR AND THE TIME-TO-SOBER ESTIMATION IN THIS APP ARE STRICTLY FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

The calculations provided by PubMate are based on generalized mathematical formulas (such as the Widmark formula) and do not take into account your personal metabolism, health condition, food intake, or actual alcohol content of specific drinks. The results are estimates and should NEVER be used to determine if it is safe for you to drive a vehicle, operate machinery, or perform any dangerous tasks.

PubMate, its developer (Tomáš Vyorálek), and its affiliates hold NO RESPONSIBILITY for your actions, decisions, health issues, or legal consequences resulting from the consumption of alcohol or the reliance on data provided by this App. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.

3. USER CONDUCT & SOCIAL FEATURES

PubMate allows you to connect with friends, view their locations on a map, and participate in leaderboards. You agree to use these features responsibly:

You will not use inappropriate, offensive, or illegal language in your username or display name.
You will not harass, spam, or abuse other users through friend requests.
You understand that participating in leaderboards and sharing your location is voluntary and can be managed in your Privacy Settings.

We reserve the right to ban accounts or remove content that violates these rules without prior notice.

4. PREMIUM FEATURES & ADVERTISING

PubMate may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. We also offer Premium upgrades (e.g., ad removal) via Google Play Billing. All purchases are final and subject to Google Play's refund policies. Watching rewarded video ads grants a temporary ad-free experience as described within the App.

5. TERMINATION

You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account through the App's settings and uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

6. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
